Choir Program 2024-2025

Choir Program Overview The Peacock Choir provides vocal performance opportunities for the sixth, seventh and eighth grade students of Itasca, Illinois.
Mission StatementOur mission is to teach young people to value and experience excellent singing. Through expressive singing, students will develop skills that promote aesthetic growth, musical achievement, self-expression and overall personal growth. Rehearsal Schedule7 and 8th Grades: Tuesday and Thursday, 7:10-7:45 AM 6th Grade: Monday and Wednesday, 7:10-7:45 AM
Rehearsals will be held primarily outside, under or near the tents behind Peacock. Students will be spaced eight feet apart during rehearsals so that students have the option to sing without face coverings when outside. Students will always wear face coverings inside.

Annual Musical Campaign

Here are some important facts about the "Annual Musical Campaign" drive:
  • We need to raise $10,000 by December 1st
  • Over 100 students participate in the musical each year
  • Questions can be directed to the Itasca Music Boosters
